The Raceday Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Enough Already (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, placed first compared with it's recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that he had entered the horse in a low grade handicap for horses who had not been placed in their previous start, which had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. When questioned about the significant market support for his charge Mr. McGuinness stated that he could not account for the interest but noted that the racing media had tipped the horse up prior to the run. Evidence was also heard from IHRB Handicapper Mr Garry O'Gorman, who stated today represented a marked improvement in his runs since Galway in July which he felt did not entitle the horse to start at such a short price favourite today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards referred the matter to the Referrals Committee of the IHRB under the provisions of Rule 212(b)(iv) for further consideration
