Mr Patrick Millman, the rider of Hurricane Helen (GB) was unseated shortly after leaving the stalls.
The rider of Hurricane Helen (GB) and the representative of Rod Millman were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved and the incident was caused by Hurricane Helen (GB) jinking and planting leaving the stalls causing Mr Millman to become unseated.
The mare was deemed to be a runner.
Following the race, Miss Megan McLoughlin reported that Sly Madam (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong out; Mr Freddie Gordon reported that Rival (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed and the Veterinary Officer reported the gelding lost its right fore shoe.
