The Stewards fined I.Madden, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Baby Bellini, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order

The Stewards interviewed D.J.Barry, trainer of Qasser, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring
Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule 32 (ii) and having taken his clean record into account cautioned him.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards rated 45-65 Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra; for each race won.
