Permission was given for Hallowed Time (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
First Company (IRE), drawn 10, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Leaving the stalls, First Company (IRE), placed eighth, jumped right-handed at the same time as Bibendum (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed, hampering White Umbrella (GB), placed sixth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, Hallowed Time (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 10 September 2024 where the gelding finished tenth of twelve, beaten by 9 lengths.
It was noted that Mark Loughnane’s representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Hallowed Time (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that White Umbrella (GB), placed sixth, was hampered leaving the stalls and as a result was slowly into stride.
