Formscan By Tom Weekes - GABYNAKO is ideally suited by today's distance and was a slightly unlucky second in the recent Drinmore Chase. Grade 1-placed over hurdles, he has shown smart form over fences and while a final fence error was costly at Fairyhouse, it was a fine effort and he also operates on testing ground. Farouk D'alene is a smart type who returned following a 341 days absence to win on chase debut at Navan. He beat Vanillier by three parts of a length in a Grade 2 hurdles here last Christmas and is better suited by today's trip than Vanillier. Vanillier subsequently won at the Cheltenham festival and while he has also done well over fences thus far, would prefer a stiffer stamina test. Lifetime Ambition has a little to find on Drinmore form while Fire Attack and Lieutenant Command both step up from recent wins and have a little to find on previous hurdles form.
