he’s a fun horse for Pat and Laura (Graffin, owners) and it’s great to win this. I won this race with Oscar Knight (in 2017) and it’s a lovely race to win. we were disappointed that he got 6lbs for (finishing second) the Red Mills race; he ran a cracker in it and I was wondering if he was good enough to come here.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Barnaviddaun, ridden by D.J
Mullins, placed first and Damalisque (FR), ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed second, where it appeared that interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placing and took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wadiyatink Now, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race
D.J. Mullins, rider of Barnaviddaun trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he was momentarily blinded by the low lying sun in the closing stages.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 10lbs and the minimum weight is 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
