The Stewards interviewed Jonathan Sweeney, trainer of Lightning Skye, at his own request, in relation to the vaccination status of his charge. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer Ms. J. Taylor. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the recording of Lightning Skye's vaccinations were demonstrably incorrect in accordance with the provisions of Rule 91
The Stewards fined Jonathan Sweeney, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Lightning Skye, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Lightning Skye in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

Rules or Rules of Racing that are EBF eligible Weights - 4-y-o 11st 5lbs ;5, 6 and 7-y-o 11st 9lbs ; Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 10th September) may also ride in this race (The winning owner in this race will receive a €5000 bonus should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H. Fillies Bonus Scheme)
