The Stewards fined Patrick G.Kelly, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Hidden Sapphire, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Hidden Sapphire in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Stewards enquired from Mr. E.P. O'Brien, rider of Infinite Glory, who fell on the flat in the closing stages of this race. The rider reported that his mount stumbled and fell for no apparent reason. Having considered the report and viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards took no further action
