She was third at Gowran first-time out and took a while to get over that but is a lot stronger now in the last couple of months and has really come on stream. She is a well-bred filly and I doubt she'll go for a winners' bumper as I can't wait to get her hurdling. I think she's decent and now she's done the first bit. Thomas Mullins, trainer

The Stewards interviewed Mr D. Sinnott, rider of Huckleberry Hill, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. D. Sinnott was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (b) the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned Mr. D. Sinnott. Mr. Derek Pugh, Acting Steward did not attend this enquiry
