An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend when Very Honest (IRE), placed second, ridden by Rossa Ryan, interfered with Majorette (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Finley Marsh.
Martin Harley, the rider of Fiery Breath (GB), unplaced, was also present in the enquiry but it was found he was not involved in the interference.
Ryan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his horse to drift left- handed towards the rail when not sufficiently clear, causing Marsh to have to take a check off heels.
Following the race, Toby Eley reported that First Link (USA), placed fifth, was slowly away.
Stevie Donohoe reported that Spenny's Lass (GB), unplaced, lost action; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
