Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend entering the home straight involving Ripplet (GB), unplaced, ridden by Connor O’Farrell, Just Jess (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Ryan Mania, Tigerpomp (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Billy Garrity, Latino Fling (IRE), placed third, ridden by Brian Hughes.
The interference was found to be accidental as Just Jess (IRE) lugged slightly left which in turn caused Tigerpomp (GB) to be carried left resulting in Latino Fling (IRE) being caught on the heels of Ripplet (GB) resulting in Hughes having to take a check.
An enquiry was held following an altercation in the Weighing Room between Brian Hughes and Billy Garrity.
Sean Quinlan, Ryan Mania, The Starters, and the Raceday Assistant were also interviewed as they were present when the altercation took place.
Having heard their evidence, Garrity was found guilty of improper conduct and suspended for 2 days.
Following the race, Brian Hughes reported that Latino Fling (IRE), placed third, suffered interference on the bend entering the home straight.
