The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the second last fence involving Farrokh (FR), ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan, placed third, and Sadies Diamond, ridden by P. Hanlon, faller, where it appeared Sadies Diamond may have been blinded by Farrokh at the fence and maybe clipped a heel on landing. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Hanlon stated that his mount jumped the fence well and landed on the heels of Farrokh who had made a mistake. M.M.J. O' Sullivan state that his mount had made a couple of mistakes during the race and again at the second last fence but didn't feel any contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
