Magic Mirror (GB), trained by Mark Rimell did not enter the Parade Ring, due to a delay to the start of Race 2.
Halfway down the back straight, Lulu Star (IRE), placed seventh, ducked quickly left away from the false rail at the cutaway and caused interference to Power Home (IRE), placed fourth, and Princess Harley (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Voi (GB), ridden by Martin Dwyer, interfered with Power Home (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Oisin Murphy and Highway One (USA), placed third, ridden by Liam Keniry.
Adam Kirby, the rider of Magic Mirror (GB), placed second, was also present in the enquiry but it was found that he was not involved in the interference.
Dwyer was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to hang left-handed without sufficient correction causing Murphy to take a slight check, followed by Keniry having to take a more notable check for several strides.
Following the race, Nicola Currie reported that Cash N Carrie (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the slow early pace.
