Permission was given for Elvrika (IRE) to go early to post, and the filly wore earplugs throughout the preliminaries which were removed upon arrived arrival at the start.

It was noted that the representative of Adam West could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance on this occasion and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Daphne May (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Goddess Of Fire (GB) which had been reluctant to leave the stable yard.

As the filly had also been reluctant to leave the stable yard at Yarmouth on 9 June 2021, Ryan's representative was informed that any future similar behaviour from Goddess Of Fire (GB) may result in the filly being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
