The Stewards interviewed B.M. Coen, rider of View The Bay, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider and B. Slattery, authorised representative of A. Slattery, the Stewards were of the opinion that B.M. Coen was in breach of Rule 211 (a) and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 1 raceday.
