Marvelously (IRE), drawn 2, jumped left-handed from stalls making contact with Avalon (GB), drawn 3, which in turn gave a bump to SPEAKTOTHEGUVNER, drawn 4, which then made contact with Chiringita (GB), drawn 5.
Following on from this initial interference Marvelously (IRE) continued to hang left-handed despite the rider’s best efforts causing Avalon (GB) to clip a heel.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved the placing of any horse.
Following the race, Benoit de la Sayette reported that Marvelously (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
