An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the home bend involving Rocket Man (GER), placed third, ridden by Joe Anderson and Get Cracking (GB), placed fourth, ridden by David Bass.
The interference was found to be accidental as Rocket Man (GER) lugged slightly left-handed before being corrected by its rider, tightening a weakening Get Cracking (GB) for room on the rail.
Following the race, Joe Anderson reported that Rocket Man (GER), placed third, hung left-handed on the home bend; the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding lost its right-hind shoe.
