Permission was given for Wild Hurricane (IRE) and Eddie Temple (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Calypso (IRE) to go early to post.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Precision Storm (GB), trained by Mark Loughnane, to wear a red hood to post, was not submitted.
Loughnane was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
Inside the two furlong marker, Wild Hurricane (IRE), unplaced, hung quickly left-handed taking Calypso (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line, which as a result took Star Caliber (GB), unplaced, across the heels of Gallimimus (GB), placed second, causing the rider of Star Caliber (GB) to stop riding for a number of strides.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, William Carson reported that Wild Hurricane (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed and George Rooke reported that Precision Storm (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer examined Precision Storm (GB) post race and found the gelding to have an irregular heartbeat.
