The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.S. Murphy, rider of Halcyon Spirit (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who gave her evidence in the presence of Mr. J. Motherway. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(b)(chance gone) and having taken her record (clean record) into account suspended her for two race days

Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record (clean record) into account suspended him for three race days.
