S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Helicon, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount momentarily ran tight for room through no fault of any other rider. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Barry Connell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Farrokh (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Barry Connell stated that the better ground coupled with the application of first time cheek pieces today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form
Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
