An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line, when Taaffes Castle (IRE), placed second, ridden by James Bowen, drifted left-handed interfering with the winner, Quinto (GB), ridden by Bryony Frost.
Bowen was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his horse to drift left, away from the whip, without sufficient correction.
Following the race Alan Johns reported that Pleney (GB), which was pulled up, jumped slowly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Pleney (GB) lost its right fore shoe.
