Prior to this race, the representative of David Bridgwater was asked to explain the reason why they were running JOT’EM DOWN (IRE) here at Plumpton on going described as Good, having been reported by a representative that the gelding would prefer an easier surface following its run at Huntingdon on 17 February 2019, where the going was officially described as Good to Soft, Good in places.
Bridgwater’s representative explained that they felt this report was incorrect and should have been reported that the gelding would prefer a sounder surface.
They were therefore happy to allow JOT’EM DOWN (IRE) to take its chance today.
