Dan Skelton was asked to explain why he was running Presenting Nelly (GB) at Leicester on Going described as Heavy, having declared the mare a non-runner at Fontwell on 12 December 2023, on ground with the same official description.
The representative of Skelton stated that a combination of the less raced on ground at Leicester, and the race at Leicester being over a shorter distance, meant that he was happy for the mare to take her chance.
