The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. J. Taylor, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that she was unable to positively identify Making A Move, trained by John M.Burke, from the details contained in the passport presented for this horse where the sex of the animal could not be verified. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that this horse had been operated on when owned by the previous owner but he had no veterinary cert to this effect. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Making A Move and referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
D. McMonagle, rider of Gleneagle Bay, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a bit green
