The winner Howzak (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 15 August 2022 where the gelding finished ninth out of ten, beaten by 8 ¼ lengths.
Robin Brisland’s could offer no explanation other than the gelding may be hitting a bit of form.
