Permission was given for Doonbeg Farmer (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post and for Split Elevens (GB), Forgotten Treasure (GB), Rinnovati (ITY) and Snow Eagle (GB) to each wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that Doonbeg Farmer (IRE), trained by Gary Brown, had arrived at the start without its declared tongue strap, which the gelding consequently ran without.
Brown was interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, Brown was fined £140.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Split Elevens (GB), ridden by Morgan Cole and Outreach (GB), dead-heated for third, ridden by George Bass.
Taryn Langley, the rider of Capallcliste (IRE), placed second, was also present in the enquiry but was found to have not been involved in the interference.
Cole was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear of Outreach (GB) causing Bass to take a check on the gelding.
Following the race, Laura Coughlan reported that Rinnovati (ITY), unplaced, stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Poles Apart (GB), dead-heated for third, lost its left-hind shoe.
