The Starter reported that Starter For Ten (GB) was unruly, broke out of stalls, and was withdrawn.
Ivan Furtado was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Starter For Ten (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Storm Over (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed leaving the stalls inconveniencing Al Asef (GB), placed sixth, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Deevious Beau (GB), unplaced, ridden by Connor Beasley, and Gustav Graves (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
Beasley was cautioned for careless riding for angling his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of a free running Gustav Graves (GB), causing Probert to take a brief check.
Approaching the final furlong Storm Over (IRE), unplaced, shifted marginally left-handed carrying Al Asef (GB) , placed sixth, off its intended line and causing it to make contact with Deevious Beau (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Daniel Tudhope reported that Patontheback (IRE), unplaced, ran flat; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
David Probert reported that Gustav Graves (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
