An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately % furlong out when the winner, SINGE DU NORD, ridden by Faye McManoman interfered with FENJAL (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris. The Stewards considered that the interference had improved the placing of SINGE DU NORD as the filly had hung right giving a significant bump to FENJAL (IRE) causing the gelding to become badly unbalanced by turning its hind quarters. Given that FENJAL (IRE) had made ground all the way to the line after the incident, to be beaten by a nose, the placings were revised as follows: first, FENJAL (IRE), second, SINGE DU NORD. The interference was found to be accidental as. SINGE DU NORD had hung right despite McManoman's efforts to correct the filly. Being a 7Ib claimer, McManoman was accompanied in the enquiry.
