The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the straight involving I Will Be Baie (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, and Sea Music, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed third, where it appeared Sea Music got tight on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. P.W. Mullins felt that he was clear as he allowed his mount to drift to the rail. Mr. J.L. Gleeson stated that he had to check out when his ground was taken. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. P.W
Mullins was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion
