The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Traditude Tara, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. Derek Cullen, that Mr J.P. O'Rourke, rider of Chosen Templar put his mount into a canter before he dropped the flag causing a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr. J.P. O'Rourke accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J.P. O'Rourke was in breach of Rule 208(iii)(b) and having considered his record they suspended him for one raceday
Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Isolde's Voice, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise and was pulled up
