1st - €6,219.00, 2nd - €1,530.00, 3rd - €720.00, 4th - €450.00 14 Ran Blueberry Tart secured a first ever win when taking this 10-furlong handicap for John O'Shea and Seamie Heffernan by a length and a half.
The six-year-old had put in a decent effort behind Adare Manor here over a month ago and followed that up by holding off Rosangla and Blaise Hollow.
The winner took up proceedings a furlong and a half out having been mid division most of the way around and from the the chasing pack which also included long time leader Show Blessed who couldn't respond.
A similar contest at the same venue is unsurprisingly next on the agenda for the winner who was running off a rating of 52 on this occasion.
Rossangla's only previous win was in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last November and she could be seen to good effect again when switching back to hurdles. Good ground would appear to be a must for the six-year-old.
Blaise Hollow was slow away at the start and she was always held up by young Shane Foley. Over an extended ten furlongs that was not likely to be a determining factor on the result but it was a significant improvement of form and there could be a race in him off 55.
In the colours of Fr Sean Breen, Show Blessed ran an encouraging race having been off since St Stephens Day. Providing the ground stays on the good side and taking connections into consideration, a good run in a nice pot at Punchestown would not be a total shock.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards rated 45-60 Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won
