1st - €8,637.50, 2nd - €2,125.00, 3rd - €1,000.00, 4th - €625.00 10 Ran A very impressive display by odds on favourite Hanoverian Baron who carried the same colours of the great Ridgewood Pearl to a four-length success in this seven-furlong three-year-old maiden.
The colt by Green Desert and out of Josh's Pearl failed to score in two outings last season, just narrowly denied by Casual Conquest in the second of those but could not have done much more here and he should not be out of place in stakes company if continuing this progression.
Nice Style who was third behind subsequent listed winner Georgebernardshaw, just met one too good on this occasion but should pass the judge in front at the third time of asking for Ger Lyons and finished well to suggest this trip or possibly even a mile at the same venue would pose little obstacle.
One who flew home at the death was Eddie Lynam's debutant Timoca who took a while to realise her business but once the penny dropped she responded to the urgings of Chris Hayes to go down by four and three quarters of a length at the line.
Timoca was one of four horses to be hesitant leaving the stalls at the start and this daughter of Marju is certainly one to keep an eye on.
Also slow away were Dermot Weld's Alaneed and Eddie Lynam's Isle De France. Alaneed was fifth and the half brother to Jidaar could have learnt a lot from this experience while I Confess was prominent throughout and just failed to speed up inside the final two furlongs.
