The Stewards interviewed T. Ryan, rider of Al Sakb (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that T. Ryan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion

The Stewards interviewed D.G. Hogan, rider of Generator City, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the D.G. Hogan was in breach of Regulation 10.(g)(frequency) and Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record they suspended for 4 racedays.

A novice hurdle for four years old and upwards which at entry are rated 106 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 107-116)

Penalties - Performances before 8th August - for every 1lb above the rating of 106 1lb extra On or after 8th August - for each hurdle race won 4lb extra
