The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Bellick (GB), ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed third, Dee Sprinter, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, unplaced and Doonard Prince, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed sixth, where it appeared that Bellick rolled onto the racing line of Doonard Prince and Dee Sprinter causing them to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found Siobhan Rutledge in breach of rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly. Having considered Siobhan Rutledges record in this regard the Stewards cautioned her on this occasion
S.T. McCullagh, rider of Dee Sprinter trained by Reginald Roberts, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left
C.D. Hayes, rider of Teddy Boy trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly.
