He could offer no explanation for the improvement of Tip Top Mountain (IRE), other than the gelding may have benefited from the application of a first-time tongue strap on this occasion.
His comments were noted, and Tip Top Mountain (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of Pens Man (IRE), which was pulled up in a field of ten runners, was considered.
The representative of Jonjo O’Neill could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance, other than Alain Cawley reporting that Pens Man (IRE) was never travelling.
