Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed World Order, trained by Declan Carroll (in GB), to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91
Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Vhagar, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91
The Stewards informed Sarah Dawson, trainer that Slainte, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again

The Stewards interviewed J.F. Egan, rider of Barbill, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that J.F. Egan was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his good record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned J.F. Egan. .
For two yrs old only which had been sold or bought in under the hammer at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale of 19th, 20th and 21st September, 2017 and had been declared by Tattersalls (Ireland) Ltd. as eligible to be entered and run in accordance with the relevant Conditions of Sale. Horses which do not have a registered name and have not been Returned In Training with a Licensed Trainer by Wednesday 25th July, 2018 will be automatically struck out of this race.
