The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving Kaptain Bay, ridden by D. Meyler, placed fourth, and You Done Well, ridden by D.J Gilligan, placed second, where it appeared You Done Well moved out and made contact with Kaptain Bay. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Meyler stated that his race was run and there was a small gap for the horse on his inner to move into to. D. J. Gilligan stated that he had to switch out as the horses where dropping back. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted S.D Greene, rider of St Laurence's Gate, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up
S.D. Torrens, rider of Threehavenine, trained by Paul Stafford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Game Phoenix, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last
M.P. Walsh, rider of Out For A Stroll, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped very green early.
