Permission was given for Maxi Boy (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only and for Top Secret (GB) to go early to post.
The Stewards noted that upon leaving the stalls, Ripp Orf (IRE), drawn 1, which finished unplaced, threw its head up twice in the air resulting in the gelding being slow into stride.

The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Rob Hornby reported that Mystery Smiles (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
