Following the race, Katie O’Farrell reported that Marracudja (FR), placed sixth, planted as the start was effected and as a result lost many lengths on the other runners and Conor O’Farrell reported that Dino Boy (FR), placed fifth, was never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
