Permission was given for Arenas Del Tiempo (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and to be mounted on the chute and for Sarvan (GB) to be mounted on the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the first bend involving Lammas (GB), placed second, ridden by Adam McNamara, Coase (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Harry Davies and Atheeb (GB), unplaced, ridden by Marco Ghiani.
McNamara was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift marginally left when insufficiently clear of Coase (GB), leaving both Coase (GB) and Atheeb (GB) short for room, resulting in both Davies and Ghiani taking a slight check.
Rounding the first bend, a free running Atheeb (GB), unplaced, was forced to steady off the heels of runners, resulting in the rider of COARSE, placed fourth, having to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that MARION’S BOY (IRE), unplaced, denied a clear run approximately 1 furlong out; Rob Hornby reported that Menai Bridge (GB), unplaced, denied a clear run inside the final furlong and Harry Davis reported that Coase (GB), placed fourth, hung left handed.
