On leaving the stalls, Rubellite (IRE), placed third, jumped right-handed moving Bear Claws (IRE), placed fourth, onto Global Tycoon (IRE), placed second, which was crowded for room and in turn caused Ladypacksapunch (GB), unplaced, to be tightened for room when Kingston Joy (IRE), unplaced, had also jumped left-handed from its outside.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any horse.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line, when Global Tycoon (IRE), placed second, ridden by Oisin Murphy, interfered with the winner Muhalhel (IRE), ridden by Tommy Jakes.
Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to hang left without sufficient correction, giving a slight bump to Muhalhel (IRE) which turned its quarters.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Ladypacksapunch (GB), unplaced, suffered interference leaving the stalls.
