At the request of the Stewards, Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Sweet Street, trained by Roger Joseph McGrath, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped heels and he came down. Having viewed the recording with Mr. M. J. M. O'Sullivan and considered the matter the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Camp David trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right

Mr E. Mahon, rider of Fast And Fun (FR) trained by Mrs Grainne M. O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly

Penalties - Winner of an I.N.H. Flat Race or a National Hunt flat race 7lb extra Of two such races 10lb extra
Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 22nd September) may also ride in this race
