Annie Pender makes all for O'Regan
She had a winter's racing behind her last year but was a bit difficult and was free and keen. She is starting to relax now and she jumped super. She has that done and I think there's a winners' hurdle at Wexford in a month's time and while I could also look at a flat handicap, I want to keep her mind on the jumping game because she was so keen coming off the flat and it might undo it all again.

Hourigan gets his Listowel winner with Drumacoo
He has been unlucky and my horses haven't been well for the past couple of years. I knew he was coming though and Mark (McDonagh) gave him a nice ride. He was a very good horse one time, he likes soft ground and I didn't run Humm Baby in the race because she wouldn't handle it. I'll try and find a chase for him if I can but he had lost his bottle jumping fences.

Wadiyatink Now wins on reappearance run for Cromwell
I ride out in Gavin's every now and then and obviously Johnny (Moore, injured stable jockey) is out; it comes in swings and roundabouts I suppose, as Johnny won the Kerry National on Snow Falcon for Noel Meade two years ago when I was out. I had never sat on her (Wadiyatink Now) but had spoken to Gavin (Cromwell) before racing and he said to drop in. He was trying to get a handle on her today more than anything else as her runs had been a little bit disappointing. She was fresh and well and she came home really well. To be fair I had a dream run all the way down the inner and I probably saved eight or ten lengths and it was a big help.
El Tren wins Ladies Trophy again for in-form Howard
Rudy and Fenelon a good front-running partnership
His run in Wexford was a bridge too far for him and he jumped very poorly - maybe coming back from hurdles was the reason. We freshened him up since and I actually thought he'd win today to be honest. Shane (Fenelon) gets on brilliantly on him and you need to be brave on him. He could go back hurdling now from a lower mark.
