Permission was given for Benjamin Bear (IRE) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute, and for Sea Urchin (FR) to wear a red hood to post.

Mangan was suspended for 4 days for careless riding for allowing her mount to shift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear, causing de la Sayette to have to check his mount for a considerable distance, and consequently hampering Byzantine Empire (GB) against the rail.
Following the race, Taylor Fisher reported that Byzantine Empire (GB), unplaced, was slowly away, Joe Leavy reported that Kentucky Kingdom (IRE), unplaced, ran too free, Millie Wonnacott reported that Hashtagmetoo (USA), placed third, was denied a clear run for a significant distance rounding the home bend, and Finley Marsh reported that Defence Treaty (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed.
