An enquiry was held to consider interference 1½ furlongs out when Umm Kulthum (IRE), placed third, ridden by Paul Hanagan, interfered with Mujbar (GB), unplaced, ridden by Dane O’Neill.
The interference was found to be accidental as having committed for a legitimate gap, that gap had then narrowed due to horses shifting left from Hanagan’s outside.
An enquiry was held to consider interference again 1½ furlongs out when the winner, Rohaan (IRE) ridden by Shane Kelly, had interfered with Light Refrain (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Kelly was cautioned for careless riding as he had edged left moving Light Refrain (GB) marginally off its intended line.
Adam McNamara, the rider of Dragon Symbol (GB), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from 1¾ furlongs out.
Following the race, the representative of Michael Bell reported that The Lir Jet (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the Heavy ground on this occasion and would prefer a sounder surface.
