An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Escobedo (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Miss Lily Jones, Ibiza Rocks (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mr Harry Myddelton, Kodi Noir (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Abel O’Gorman, and Peruvian Summer (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Adam O’Shea.
Being amateur riders, the jockeys were accompanied by a senior rider.
The interference was found to be accidental as Kodi Noir (IRE) hung right-handed carrying Ibiza Rocks (GB) off its intended line onto the heels of Escobedo (GB) causing the gelding to be switched left-handed carrying Ibiza Rocks (GB) off its intended line onto Kodi Noir (IRE) causing the gelding to bump Peruvian Summer (IRE) off its intended line.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the line involving the winner, Pyrrhic Dancer (IRE), ridden by Miss Isabella Francis, Kodebreaker (IRE), placed second, ridden by Mr Eireann Cagney, Brave Display (IRE), placed third, ridden by Miss Zoe Lewis, and Escobedo (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Miss Lily Jones.
Miss Francis was suspended for 2 days for careless riding on dates to be notified to her by the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority as she allowed her mount to drift right-handed whilst celebrating causing Mr Cagney to become tight for room and having to take a check which in turn caused Brave Display (IRE) to become briefly tight for room which also caused slight interference to Escobedo (GB).
Following the race, Mr Abel O'Gorman reported that Kodi Noir (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
