Permission was given for Yanifer (GB) to go early to post; for Aalto (FR), Carnival Zain (GB) and Tolstoy (IRE) to all wear a red hood to the start.

Orr was cautioned for careless riding as he failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from drifting right- handed carrying Yanifer (GB) off its intended line.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 2 furlongs out involving Yermanthere (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Phil Dennis; Londoner (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan and Golden Pharaoh (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harrison Shaw.
Dennis was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to edge left-handed causing Mulrennan to take a slight check.
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Our Havana (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
Paul Mulrennan reported that Londoner (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 2 furlongs out.
