The Stewards fined A.L.T.Moore, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Brosna George, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Brosna George in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv)

The Stewards wished to interview C.P. McNamara, rider of Silver Planeur, in relation to the fall in the back straight but were unable to do so as the rider was unavailable as he was retained in the medical room. Having viewed the video footage of Silver Planeur's fall, the Stewards were satisfied that the animal stumbled and fell independently with no other horse or rider involved in the incident.
