As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Good Earth (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Glamorous Force (GB), trained by Ronald Harris, failed to enter the Parade Ring due to the gelding being difficult to saddle.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 3 furlong marker involving Trusty Rusty (GB), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson and La Roca Del Fuego (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Tyler Heard.
Heard was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left- handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Trusty Rusty (GB), causing Watson to take a check.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that We're Reunited (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed and Jonny Peate reported that You're Cool (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final ½ furlong.
Ronald Harris reported that Glamorous Force (GB), placed eighth, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
