An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, CONTRIVE (IRE), ridden by David Egan, interfered with PRIVATE VIEW, placed third, ridden by Jason Watson, who in turn interfered with CRAFT MADAM (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Adam Kirby. Egan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction causing Watson to be marginally carried off his intended line resulting in Kirby taking a check.
Report following an enquiry into interference between CONTRIVE (IRE), PRIVATE VIEW and CRAFTY MADAM (IRE)
